Today we did a restock shopping for GORP and other misc. items in Lock Haven, PA. It started raining, but much to Daniel’s chagrin, we kept riding (well, we stopped briefly, and went on after things eased up a little.) Drive trains suffered a bit, but such is the life of a touring chain. We headed out of Lock Haven on 64—pretty busy and not much fun, but once we turned on 445, things got a bit nicer (north south roads are less popural in this part of PA because of the large approximately east west ridges.)
Lacking a better option, we camped in the woods just off the road, in what turned out to be the Sugar Run Hunt Camp (shh…!). No interactions with hunters that night or the next morning. Phew!
Dinner: Fried rice with peas and onions (and lots of egg). Yum!! Also made a good lunch the next day.
