Some really cool people from Idaho came to the hostel yesterday and made it worth staying in the hostel for one more day. We also noticed Coca-Cola setting up a huge promotional event on the beach and found out everything was free, so we thought it would be worth sticking around. Mark and our new friends rented surfboards and walked the 100 meters to the beach to hang out for the day. I still have to stay out of the water, so I was in charge of watching all the stuff and trying to shuffle all the cameras to take pictures of people surfing. Many sunburns, countless Coca-Cola Zeros, and a ride on a mechanical bull converted into a mechanical surfboard later, we were glad we stuck around the extra day.

Stumbled upon this here blog….very exciting and super jealous. Good for you taking advantage of life right now. I hope you’re having an amazing time, looks like it. Just be careful if you have a drink, not to get drunk, cause you know they’ll be able to tell in your eyes. haha. Talk to you soon and be safe.
