This was a crazy little town to ride into with the extremely narrow streets downtown. This is apparently one of the older established cities of Panama, which explains the incredible woodwork of the old church downtown. We were only a half day ride from our destination of Las Tablas the next day, so we had some time to walk around the town at night and in the morning before leaving for our ride. We found a little restaurant that makes incredible strawberry milkshakes, and fortunately for us, we have to go back through Chitre to go to Panama City. I think we will put in a few orders on the way back.
